Dr. Nicole Estes was born and raised in California and earned both her undergraduate and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from the University of California at Davis. She went on to complete a rotating internship in Kentucky, followed by a three-year Orthopaedic Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, where she met her husband. Dr. Estes has since practiced in California, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and now New York. Her professional passions include surgery and building lasting relationships with pets and their families. She currently lives in Hamlin, on the shore of Lake Ontario, with her husband, two children, two dogs, and what she proudly calls “the greatest cat in all the land.” Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Estes enjoys spending time with her family, sailing her single-handed boat, and traveling.
