After transplanting from Utah to New York, Emme began working at Southtowne in October of 2024. She graduated from Utah Tech University with a bachelors in Sociology and a minor in music. Since then, she has received a certificate in wildlife rehabilitation from The Animal Behavioral institute. In 2023 she spent a month interning at the Panthera Africa Big Cat Sanctuary in South Africa, where she left her heart. Emme has worked at two veterinary emergency hospitals and volunteered for 6 years at an animal rescue in Utah.
Emme is thrilled to be at Southtowne and loves the fun, skilled, and patient staff, not to mention every single animal that comes through the door.
Her particular interests include, wildlife rehabilitation, emergency veterinary services, animal activism and rescue, and wearing cat themed scrubs.
In her spare time Emme can be found thrifting, watching movies, crafting, or lap swimming. Some of which she enjoys doing with her partner Josh and her adorable cat Hilda.
